The Cotswolds Scarp
(pencil)
NOTE FROM ARTIST: "Situated along a string of large hills northwest of London, the Cotswolds is famous for its gentle streams, wild flowers, and tranquil villages constructed of a warm, honey-colored limestone quarried locally. These are some of the drawings I made as a result of my travels in that lovely place. They were displayed in March at the Twenty-first Century Museum of Contemporary Art (in People's Gallery A) in Kanazawa, Japan. When I created the drawings, I remembered the peace and contentment I felt during my strolls in the Cotswolds. I hope that those feelings will be reflected back to my viewers."
